Message from State Deputy Sal Restivo on Disaster Relief
Sisters and Brothers of the New York State Family of the Knights of Columbus,
Yesterday, I visited Schoharie and Middleburgh and seen first hand their devastation. As I was writing our Supreme Knight, I heard of the tornado and the other areas of New York State that have been hit by Irene and now a tornado. I am asking that all councils, Assemblies, and chapters in New York send their donations directly to the New York State council so we can assist our brothers, their families and our fellow New Yorkers in their time of need.
Your state officers are organized to respond to this disaster. We ask for your prayers, well wishes ,cooperation and financial support.
Checks should be made out to : NYSKofC Charities Inc. Diaster Relief.
We will keep you updated as to the needs of our fellow New Yorkers in the affected areas.
I ask that this eamil be sent to every Conference chairman, CoB,DD, GK, Chapter President, FN,Columbiette President, Squires circle, etc
